Committee of Adjustment Appointment Application

The Committee of Adjustment is comprised of members of the public and are appointed by Council. The Committee of Adjustment has authority under the Planning Act to review and grant decisions on applications for fence variance and the granting of minor variances pertaining to the regulations contained in the Zoning By-law. The South Stormont Committee of Adjustment also serves as the Property Standards Committee.

The Committee typically holds a public hearing once a month to consider applications for minor variances.
